The Sugar Thieves
Members of "The Sugar Thieves" include: Dave Libman (Drums), Mikel Lander (Guitar/Vox), Shea Marshall (Sax/Keys/Kitchen Sink), Meridith Moore (Vox/Sexiness), and Ray Thiry (Upright Bass). "The Sugar Thieves", formally known as The Mikel Lander & Meridtih Moore band, came together through a simple twist of fate, a love for good music, and a passion that these five musicians share to take their music to the next level. On October 5th 2008, they won the Arizona State Blues Competition and were voted best blues band in the state. From there, they went on to compete in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis on Feb. 5th 2009 where they were voted in to the top ten and went on to play the finals. They've also shared a stage with Robert Randolph, Blues Traveler, Warren Haynes, and The Whailers at the 2008 McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Scottsdale. In May of 2008, they released their first album "The Soulo Sessions". It's a full length, live recording with ‘8' guest musicians, available online at ‘cdbaby.com'. There's a link to purchase the album above. And they haven't left behind social responsibility; this band has contributed their time and musical energy to benefits and fundraisers throughout the valley.

Coles Whalen
Before she was a singer/songwriter, Coles Whalen fronted a band in Los Angeles for two and a half years prior to going solo. She released an EP ofsolo work, purchased a truck and a camper, and began playing venues and selling her EP throughout the western United States. After selling over 2,000 copies of her work, Whalen decided that it was time to record new material. The result was her first album, Gee Baby, which was released in 2005. She returned to the road (this time expanding her touring schedule across the country) to play both solo and with a new band. Whalen's second album, Nothing Is Too Much, was released in March 2007 on Iconic Records.

Thai Rivera
Originally from Arizona Thai Rivera has taken the L.A. comedy scene by a
storm. Thai has done many rooms in L.A. and Arizona. He has performed in
any kind of situation you can imagine, everything from clubs (Laugh Factory,
Friars’, Comedy Store) to emceeing the Choir concert for his church, talk
about a clean show, to smoky bars, and theatres.
Having grown up Latino in a small, predominantly white, rural community and
lived in various cities, including Las Vegas, Thai is used to having to adapt to
many situations and is able to relate to many audiences easily and on many
levels with his unique, “I don’t get it” brand of humor. He has quickly become
a favorite on the Southern California comedy scene with audiences, bookers
and his fellow comics alike. He is also beginning to make a name for himself in
his native Arizona, as well.
In the past some bookers have been apprehensive about having a “gay
comic” in some of the more rural areas but time and again Thai has been
able to not only disarm audiences, but to win them over. He respects, and
entertains his audience by giving them a mixture of current events, personal
experiences, family, and his unique observations of the world in which he
lives. Book Thai Rivera and see why audiences not only tolerate him, but
request that he come back.
